We’re Full Keel Coffee, a local coffee roaster based in Washburn, WI, a coastal town on the shores of Lake Superior. We’re all about great coffee, close communities, and making an impact. We gather our inspiration for the Full Keel brand from the spirit of adventure and from the shores and waters of Lake Superior. The romance of the "sea" is strong here, always in our thoughts. It invokes dreams of far-off shores; adventures in places new as well as near. Fresh air and a sea breeze, eyes scanning the horizons. So come along with us as we set sail on this journey; we hope you'll be enjoying a cup soon.

I'm Jared.

I started Full Keel Coffee in 2021 to provide our region with high quality locally roasted coffee, while also making an impact on global farmers and their families. We strive to create simple, dependable and delicious coffee from the finest beans; roasting them to perfection every week. We source as much Fair Trade Organic as we can, while also partnering with our importers to ensure the quality of life and environment in coffee producing regions.
We’re passionate about supporting our local community and giving back to the area that has given us so much. Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to contribute to a variety of local organizations, helping to strengthen the connections and support systems that make our community so special.

With over 12 years of experience, we’ve carefully crafted five different blends and a few limited offerings; each with their own unique tastes and notes. We're excited for you to find your new favorite!

My family and I live in Washburn, WI, and when not at the roastery I enjoy going on outdoor adventures near and far with them. I also serve on the City Council and Harbor Commission. My wife Amy owns AdventureUs, an amazing shop featuring outdoor-themed gifts and accessories made in Wisconsin. The shop is also home to Rip and Stitch Sewing Company specializing in zipper repair and garment restoration.

Needless to say, we're busy people. But yet another reason we're all about drinking the best coffee!

Light roasts tend to have a brighter, more citrus flavor that showcases the natural qualities of the bean. Medium roasts balance boldness with a slightly richer flavor than a light roast. Dark roasts have a bold, smoky taste, which comes from the extended roasting time.
